Dr Jacqueline Service – AGM Guest Speaker 2021

Jacqueline is Lecturer in Systematic Theology at Charles Sturt University (St Mark’s National Theological Centre), Canberra, Australia. Her research focus is on Trinitarian Theology, Divine Ontology of Well-Being and Theology of Development and Social Justice. She completed her doctoral research on the award of a full scholarship through the Centre for Public and Contextual Theology (PaCT), Charles Sturt University (CSU), Canberra. For her thesis, she received one of the highest academic honours – the Higher Degree by Research University Medal. She is currently a Board Member of Micah Australia and has been actively involved in church ministries over many years. Previous to these undertakings, Jacqueline was Lecturer of Theology and Program Director of the Master of Arts at Alphacrucis College, Sydney, Australia; a Lawyer in Commercial and Government Legal Practice; and, for over a decade, worked at the Australian Government’s Agency for International Development (AusAID) managing, reviewing and designing aid programs across the Pacific and South-West Asia. Jacqueline also has a B.A. Intercultural Studies (Missiology); Bachelor of Laws (with Honors); Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. She is also a parent of four beautiful children and a enjoys a good red, gooey cheeses, hazelnut chocolate and high-heeled shoes.
