Bishop Bruce Wilson
Bishop Bruce Wilson’s funeral was held at St James’ Church, King Street, Sydney at 10am on Monday 29 March 2021.
Bishop Wilson was the first bishop to ordain women in New South Wales. He and his wife, Zandra were longterm supporters of MOW.
They are shown in this 1985 photo taken by former MOW president, Janet Scarfe, with Alison Cheek at the first MOW National Conference in Sydney in 1985.
Bruce and Zandra are wearing a early MOW badge. He will be much missed.
