Quiet Day No. 1 “Learning, gentleness and the arts – Abbesses of Saxon England as models of ministry”
In 2012 we celebrated 20 years since women were ordained to the priesthood in Australia. The focus for reflection on this Quiet Day is three women who helped shape our English Church tradition. The theme is “Learning, gentleness and the arts – Abbesses of Saxon England as models of ministry”. The material was prepared by the Rev’d Lesley McLean.
Please note that the material is really meant for leaders who are organising groups to participate in the Quiet Day. It is recommended that participants do not study the material beforehand so that spontaneity is preserved.
